# Golf Race vs Pixel Greens

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Golf Race at 51K against Pixel Greens's 7. Golf Race also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.4) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Golf Race sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Pixel Greens sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Golf Race holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Golf Race has 51K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 42% of Golf Race's written reviews are positive against 50% of Pixel Greens's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Golf Race ships an update weekly, Pixel Greens every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
