The clearest difference is update cadence: Helvetic E2 at every 2 months against GGA's every 4 months. Helvetic E2 also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Helvetic E2 ships an update every 2 months, GGA every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on September 12, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
