# Slug Run vs EVO

Slug Run and EVO both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Slug Run's written reviews are positive against 52% of EVO's. Slug Run also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). EVO's advantage is ratings volume (6.4K vs 15). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Slug Run sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and EVO sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Slug Run against 4.6 for EVO. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: EVO has 6.4K ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 100% of Slug Run's written reviews are positive against 52% of EVO's.

Slug Run ships an update every 3 weeks, EVO every 2 months. Both last shipped on November 7, 2026.
