# KartTracker CL vs SIM

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: KartTracker CL at none against SIM's 24. KartTracker CL also leads on iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.0). SIM's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SIM sells 24 one-off in-app purchases. KartTracker CL asks for nothing beyond the download.

KartTracker CL ships an update every 4 months, SIM every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
