# Whethr vs WeatherSage

The clearest difference is update cadence: WeatherSage at every 3 days against Whethr's every 2 months. Whethr's advantage is device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Whethr ships an update every 2 months, WeatherSage every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
