# My Positive Affirmations vs Affirmations Reminders

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: My Positive Affirmations at none against Affirmations Reminders's 1. My Positive Affirmations also leads on iOS requirement (9.1 vs 15.0). Affirmations Reminders's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 17 months) and rating (4.8 vs 4.4). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Affirmations Reminders sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. My Positive Affirmations asks for nothing beyond the download.

Affirmations Reminders holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Affirmations Reminders has 178 ratings behind it against 30, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of My Positive Affirmations's written reviews are positive against 99% of Affirmations Reminders's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

My Positive Affirmations ships an update every 17 months, Affirmations Reminders weekly. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
