# BC Wildfire Service vs PheedLoop Go

The clearest difference is rating: BC Wildfire Service at 3.0 against PheedLoop Go's 2.1. PheedLoop Go's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 months) and review sentiment (50% vs 29%). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

BC Wildfire Service holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 7 and 7 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 29% of BC Wildfire Service's written reviews are positive against 50% of PheedLoop Go's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BC Wildfire Service ships an update every 3 months, PheedLoop Go every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
