# Edith vs Picchi

The clearest difference is ads: Picchi at none against Edith's shown. Picchi also leads on review sentiment (69% vs 51%) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). Edith's advantage is ratings volume (9.5K vs 51). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Edith sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Picchi sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Edith against 4.7 for Picchi. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Edith has 9.5K ratings behind it against 51, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 51% of Edith's written reviews are positive against 69% of Picchi's.

Edith ships an update every 2 weeks, Picchi every 10 days. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
