# Drawland vs Learn Drawing

The clearest difference is monetization model: Learn Drawing at free with in-app purchases against Drawland's subscription. Learn Drawing also leads on ratings volume (844 vs 162). Drawland's advantage is review sentiment (86% vs 59%). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Drawland sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Learn Drawing sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Learn Drawing holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Learn Drawing has 844 ratings behind it against 162, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of Drawland's written reviews are positive against 59% of Learn Drawing's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Drawland ships an update every 3 weeks, Learn Drawing every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
