# CrochetCreator vs Patronix

The clearest difference is rating: Patronix at 5.0 against CrochetCreator's 2.3. Patronix also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 6) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). CrochetCreator's advantage is review sentiment (42% vs 0%) and ratings volume (20 vs 2). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CrochetCreator sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Patronix asks for nothing beyond the download.

Patronix holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CrochetCreator has 20 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 42% of CrochetCreator's written reviews are positive against 0% of Patronix's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

CrochetCreator ships an update every 2 months, Patronix fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
