# Poster Maker vs Certificate Creator

The clearest difference is ads: Certificate Creator at none against Poster Maker's shown. Certificate Creator also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly). Poster Maker's advantage is ratings volume (406 vs 21) and rating (4.8 vs 4.6). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Poster Maker sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Certificate Creator sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Poster Maker holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Poster Maker has 406 ratings behind it against 21, so its average is the more settled of the two.
