# OnTimePoint vs Ahead

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: OnTimePoint at none against Ahead's 10. OnTimePoint also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 16.0). Ahead's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (22K vs 3). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ahead sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. OnTimePoint asks for nothing beyond the download.

OnTimePoint holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ahead has 22K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

OnTimePoint ships an update every 4 months, Ahead fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
