# General Goods vs Ferebe

The clearest difference is review sentiment: General Goods at 100% against Ferebe's 55%. Ferebe's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 3.7) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 31 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Ferebe holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ferebe has 154 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of General Goods's written reviews are positive against 55% of Ferebe's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

General Goods ships an update every 31 months, Ferebe every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
