# TikVPN vs Fresh Scan

The clearest difference is ads: Fresh Scan at none against TikVPN's shown. Fresh Scan also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly). TikVPN's advantage is device support (4 vs 2). On price, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TikVPN sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Fresh Scan sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $20.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TikVPN ships an update fortnightly, Fresh Scan every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
