# ASMK FM vs QDI

The clearest difference is rating: ASMK FM at 3.8 against QDI's 3.1. ASMK FM also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (11.4 vs 17.0). QDI's advantage is review sentiment (23% vs 0%) and ratings volume (55 vs 5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ASMK FM holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: QDI has 55 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of ASMK FM's written reviews are positive against 23% of QDI's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ASMK FM ships an update fortnightly, QDI every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
