# Sky Castle vs Eyes

The clearest difference is ads: Eyes at none against Sky Castle's shown. Eyes also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Sky Castle's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.7). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sky Castle sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Eyes sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sky Castle holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 27 and 74 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of Sky Castle's written reviews are positive against 86% of Eyes's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Sky Castle ships an update every 3 months, Eyes fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
