# aQRmate vs Final Fantasy Map

The clearest difference is update cadence: Final Fantasy Map at every 2 days against aQRmate's every 5 months. Final Fantasy Map also leads on iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. aQRmate sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Final Fantasy Map sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

aQRmate ships an update every 5 months, Final Fantasy Map every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
