# MaVoix vs Veras

The clearest difference is rating: MaVoix at 5.0 against Veras's 4.0. MaVoix also leads on iOS requirement (10.0 vs 16.4). Veras's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ratings volume (59 vs 1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MaVoix sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month. Veras asks for nothing beyond the download.

MaVoix holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Veras has 59 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
