# TarangPlus vs OTTplay

The clearest difference is rating: OTTplay at 4.5 against TarangPlus's 2.5. OTTplay also leads on review sentiment (52% vs 20%) and ratings volume (164 vs 6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TarangPlus sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $24.99 per year and OTTplay sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

OTTplay holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OTTplay has 164 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 20% of TarangPlus's written reviews are positive against 52% of OTTplay's.

TarangPlus ships an update monthly, OTTplay every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
