# ERIS Mobile vs Authenticator ·

The clearest difference is review sentiment: ERIS Mobile at 100% against Authenticator ·'s 23%. ERIS Mobile also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 12). Authenticator ·'s advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (26K vs 6). On price, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Authenticator · sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. ERIS Mobile asks for nothing beyond the download.

Authenticator · holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Authenticator · has 26K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of ERIS Mobile's written reviews are positive against 23% of Authenticator ·'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ERIS Mobile ships an update every 4 months, Authenticator · every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
