# Rap Maker vs RapFlow

The clearest difference is monetization model: RapFlow at freemium against Rap Maker's subscription. Rap Maker's advantage is review sentiment (73% vs 50%) and ratings volume (1.1K vs 23). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Rap Maker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.49 per 7 days and RapFlow sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $8.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Rap Maker against 4.7 for RapFlow. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rap Maker has 1.1K ratings behind it against 23, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 73% of Rap Maker's written reviews are positive against 50% of RapFlow's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
