# Slowchat vs 尺书

The clearest difference is update cadence: Slowchat at every 10 days against 尺书's every 5 weeks. 尺书's advantage is iOS requirement (9.0 vs 13.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Slowchat sells 18 one-off in-app purchases and 尺书 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Slowchat ships an update every 10 days, 尺书 every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
