# Secured VPN vs Ethical Secure VPN

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Ethical Secure VPN at 96% against Secured VPN's 25%. Ethical Secure VPN also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and update cadence (every 4 days vs fortnightly). Secured VPN's advantage is rating (3.1 vs 2.0) and ratings volume (326 vs 10). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Secured VPN sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and Ethical Secure VPN sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Secured VPN holds the better App Store score, 3.1 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Secured VPN has 326 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of Secured VPN's written reviews are positive against 96% of Ethical Secure VPN's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Secured VPN ships an update fortnightly, Ethical Secure VPN every 4 days. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
