# Test vs BOOST

The clearest difference is device support: Test at 4 against BOOST's 2. Test also leads on iOS requirement (13.4 vs 17.6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 18, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
