# SOB TV vs Trident Mindset

The clearest difference is monetization model: Trident Mindset at free with in-app purchases against SOB TV's subscription. Trident Mindset also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months). SOB TV's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SOB TV sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month and Trident Mindset sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SOB TV holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 341 and 750 respectively. Written reviews point the same way: 99% of SOB TV's written reviews are positive against 91% of Trident Mindset's.

SOB TV ships an update every 3 months, Trident Mindset fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
