# SOB TV vs ReadyPlan

The clearest difference is monetization model: ReadyPlan at free with in-app purchases against SOB TV's subscription. ReadyPlan also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months). SOB TV's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and review sentiment (99% vs 85%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SOB TV sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month and ReadyPlan sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SOB TV holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SOB TV has 343 ratings behind it against 48, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 99% of SOB TV's written reviews are positive against 85% of ReadyPlan's.

SOB TV ships an update every 3 months, ReadyPlan every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
