# YBox vs HOTKam

The clearest difference is review sentiment: YBox at 74% against HOTKam's 23%. YBox also leads on ratings volume (229 vs 1). HOTKam's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 17) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. YBox sells 17 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. HOTKam asks for nothing beyond the download.

HOTKam holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: YBox has 229 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 74% of YBox's written reviews are positive against 23% of HOTKam's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

YBox ships an update every 5 weeks, HOTKam monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
