# Grim Tales 17 vs Find Hidden Objects

The clearest difference is ads: Grim Tales 17 at none against Find Hidden Objects's shown. Grim Tales 17 also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.5) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). Find Hidden Objects's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (59K vs 429). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Grim Tales 17 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Find Hidden Objects sells 13 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Grim Tales 17 holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Find Hidden Objects has 59K ratings behind it against 429, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of Grim Tales 17's written reviews are positive against 84% of Find Hidden Objects's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Grim Tales 17 ships an update every 6 months, Find Hidden Objects every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
