# Aroma IoT vs Fragrant Pro

The clearest difference is rating: Fragrant Pro at 5.0 against Aroma IoT's 1.7. Fragrant Pro also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). Aroma IoT's advantage is ratings volume (20 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Fragrant Pro holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Aroma IoT has 20 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Aroma IoT ships an update every 2 months, Fragrant Pro every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
