# The Personality Test vs IQ Test

The clearest difference is review sentiment: IQ Test at 91% against The Personality Test's 31%. IQ Test also leads on rating (4.5 vs 2.2) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 12 months). The Personality Test's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. The Personality Test sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and IQ Test sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

IQ Test holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 2.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: IQ Test has 55 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 31% of The Personality Test's written reviews are positive against 91% of IQ Test's.

The Personality Test ships an update every 12 months, IQ Test every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
