The clearest difference is update cadence: skippodisk at every 2 weeks against PowerPlay5's every 23 months. skippodisk also leads on ratings volume (11 vs 1). PowerPlay5's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for PowerPlay5 against 4.9 for skippodisk. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: skippodisk has 11 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
