# Logger vs Timestamper

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Logger at 81% against Timestamper's 42%. Logger also leads on rating (4.6 vs 4.1). Timestamper's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Logger sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Timestamper sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Logger holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 166 and 171 respectively. Written reviews point the same way: 81% of Logger's written reviews are positive against 42% of Timestamper's.

Logger ships an update every 6 weeks, Timestamper every 2 months. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
