# Logger vs Noble Notes

The clearest difference is rating: Noble Notes at 5.0 against Logger's 4.6. Noble Notes also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 81%). Logger's advantage is update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 16 months) and ratings volume (166 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Logger sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Noble Notes sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Noble Notes holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Logger has 166 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 81% of Logger's written reviews are positive against 100% of Noble Notes's.

Logger ships an update every 6 weeks, Noble Notes every 16 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
