# Logger vs Quick PDF Scanner

The clearest difference is monetization model: Quick PDF Scanner at free with in-app purchases against Logger's subscription. Quick PDF Scanner also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks). Logger's advantage is ratings volume (166 vs 1) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Logger sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Quick PDF Scanner sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Quick PDF Scanner holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Logger has 166 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Logger ships an update every 6 weeks, Quick PDF Scanner every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
