# Eos Remote vs CounterWeighted

The clearest difference is update cadence: CounterWeighted at every 5 days against Eos Remote's fortnightly. Eos Remote's advantage is iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Eos Remote sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and CounterWeighted sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
