# Stash vs RinkRat

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: RinkRat at none against Stash's 4. RinkRat also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks). Stash's advantage is ratings volume (589 vs 1) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.6). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Stash sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. RinkRat asks for nothing beyond the download.

RinkRat holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Stash has 589 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Stash ships an update every 2 weeks, RinkRat every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
