# The Harmony Hub vs HipoChat

The clearest difference is update cadence: HipoChat at every 2 weeks against The Harmony Hub's every 4 months. The Harmony Hub's advantage is ratings volume (14 vs 2). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for The Harmony Hub against 5.0 for HipoChat. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The Harmony Hub has 14 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

The Harmony Hub ships an update every 4 months, HipoChat every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
