# ForFour AR vs Blind Mahjong

ForFour AR and Blind Mahjong both sit at 5.0 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of ForFour AR's written reviews are positive against 67% of Blind Mahjong's. Blind Mahjong's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 21 months) and ratings volume (7 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ForFour AR sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Blind Mahjong sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for ForFour AR against 4.9 for Blind Mahjong. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Blind Mahjong has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 100% of ForFour AR's written reviews are positive against 67% of Blind Mahjong's.

ForFour AR ships an update every 21 months, Blind Mahjong fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
