# Santa Drop Express vs Mission Outer Space

The clearest difference is rating: Santa Drop Express at 4.6 against Mission Outer Space's 4.0. Santa Drop Express also leads on ratings volume (12 vs 1). Mission Outer Space's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (100% vs 83%). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Santa Drop Express holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Santa Drop Express has 12 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of Santa Drop Express's written reviews are positive against 100% of Mission Outer Space's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Santa Drop Express ships an update every 6 months, Mission Outer Space every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
