# DJI Fly vs PiHOT

The clearest difference is rating: PiHOT at 5.0 against DJI Fly's 3.7. PiHOT also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported). DJI Fly's advantage is ratings volume (4.9K vs 1) and chart position (#100 vs unranked). On price, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

PiHOT holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DJI Fly has 4.9K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
