# MPro Mesh vs Tip Calculator

The clearest difference is price: MPro Mesh at Free against Tip Calculator's $2.99. MPro Mesh also leads on ratings volume (55 vs 1). Tip Calculator's advantage is rating (4.0 vs 1.3) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 months). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

MPro Mesh is free to download; Tip Calculator costs $2.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Tip Calculator holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 1.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MPro Mesh has 55 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

MPro Mesh ships an update every 6 months, Tip Calculator every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
