# FaceRecon vs Slideshow Maker

The clearest difference is ads: FaceRecon at none against Slideshow Maker's shown. FaceRecon also leads on iOS requirement (11.4 vs 14.0). Slideshow Maker's advantage is ratings volume (6 vs 1). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FaceRecon sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Slideshow Maker sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for FaceRecon against 5.0 for Slideshow Maker. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Slideshow Maker has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
