# Flytrex vs Zing

The clearest difference is ads: Zing at none against Flytrex's shown. Zing also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 6 weeks) and review sentiment (100% vs 71%). Flytrex's advantage is ratings volume (2.3K vs 4). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Flytrex against 5.0 for Zing. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flytrex has 2.3K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 71% of Flytrex's written reviews are positive against 100% of Zing's.

Flytrex ships an update every 6 weeks, Zing every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and September 10, 2026 respectively.
