# Flytrex vs BiteFinder US

The clearest difference is ads: BiteFinder US at none against Flytrex's shown. BiteFinder US also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 71%) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Flytrex's advantage is ratings volume (2.3K vs 4) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 4 months). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Flytrex against 5.0 for BiteFinder US. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flytrex has 2.3K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.
