# Flytrex vs Dessert Avenue

The clearest difference is ads: Dessert Avenue at none against Flytrex's shown. Dessert Avenue also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 weeks). Flytrex's advantage is ratings volume (2.3K vs 2). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Flytrex against 5.0 for Dessert Avenue. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flytrex has 2.3K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Flytrex ships an update every 6 weeks, Dessert Avenue every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
