# Flytrex vs TotSpot

The clearest difference is ads: TotSpot at none against Flytrex's shown. TotSpot also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 71%) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Flytrex's advantage is ratings volume (2.3K vs 6). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Flytrex against 5.0 for TotSpot. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flytrex has 2.3K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 71% of Flytrex's written reviews are positive against 100% of TotSpot's.

Flytrex ships an update every 6 weeks, TotSpot every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
