# TinyScope vs SynLink

The clearest difference is rating: SynLink at 5.0 against TinyScope's 2.1. SynLink also leads on device support (4 vs 2). TinyScope's advantage is ratings volume (20 vs 2) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SynLink holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TinyScope has 20 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

TinyScope ships an update every 2 weeks, SynLink fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
