# Scent System vs Scent Online

The clearest difference is rating: Scent Online at 2.3 against Scent System's 1.0. Scent Online also leads on ratings volume (6 vs 1). Scent System's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Scent Online holds the better App Store score, 2.3 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Scent Online has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Scent System ships an update every 2 weeks, Scent Online every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
