# Screen Recorder vs Screen Recorder

The clearest difference is rating: Screen Recorder at 4.5 against Screen Recorder's 3.9. Screen Recorder also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (35K vs 398). Screen Recorder's advantage is review sentiment (43% vs 30%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Screen Recorder sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Screen Recorder sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 3 months. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Screen Recorder holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Screen Recorder has 35K ratings behind it against 398, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 30% of Screen Recorder's written reviews are positive against 43% of Screen Recorder's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Screen Recorder ships an update every 2 weeks, Screen Recorder every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
