# Bionieuws vs tech

The clearest difference is update cadence: tech at every 3 weeks against Bionieuws's every 5 months. Bionieuws's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Bionieuws ships an update every 5 months, tech every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
